Hi, a short update.
My dad had a heart attack a few days ago, he is doing okay, but he is still in hospital. He is waiting to take some tests to see if he needs surgery.
I still haven't found a job. Had a virtual interview this morning for a local computer store.
I have papers to apply for college. I'm going to take Health Care Aide at Red River College.

New beginnings
I'm currently back in college taking the Health Unit Clerk program. The government is paying my tuition because I qualified for the disability assistance program. I can't work as a Health Care Aide anymore because of the fibromyalgia. I have been unemployed for a year now, thankfully I did get a bit of EI last year to keep me afloat. I also live with my supportive parents.
Update April 2023
So I should probably provide an update. I'm currently not working. My term was up at the hospital and there were no open positions. I am looking into jobs in Winnipeg. I don't want to go into HCA jobs but I will if I really can't find another job. IDK what else to say.
Update
I haven't done an update in months. So I'm still working at the hospital as a Materials Management Tech. I have an appointment with the rheumatologist and another appointment at the sleep disorder clinic, both in July. I don't have much time to colourize anymore, that's why there's been such a lack of colourizations from me this year. In 2 weeks I'm going to Portugal for a week. I had a travel voucher because I was supposed to go to the Philippines again to see Maria's brother's wedding in 2020 but obviously that didn't happen and they got married here in Canada. Since I couldn't go in 2020 Delta issued me a voucher but it expires next year so I had to use it this year. I'm meeting a friend I made online probably 5 years ago at this point. He lives in Braga. We met on an online game and have been good friends since.
New job and updates
I got a new job. I'll be working at the hospital as a Materials Management Tech, which is the fancy way of saying I will be looking after inventory and delivering supplies to each ward. Even though DCL gave me a bad review the hospital still wanted to hire me probably because of my computer skills. A health update; I have to see a rheumatologist in Winnipeg soon to check for autoimmune disorders. My family dr. has no idea what's wrong with me. I got sent for xrays and bloodwork and it came back normal. I had to get an xray because the only place that I had an injury that is also a place that really hurts is my knee. I nearly broke my knee in 2020 while urbexing but according to the xray it's fine.
